Earlier this year Nabisco Parodies came back. While, I can’t easily join in on the Tumblr fun (no account), I can embed posts here on WordPress.
This latest Home parody of page 662 sums up perfectly what’s wrong with the Roamer and Rogio’s relationship. The official line is that Rogio is depressed and that’s why he’s behaving like this. Depression or not, Rogio is not a good person. Between not helping the Meteor Tribe take down Ranach (his former lover), giving Roamer the silent treatment for no good reason, and countless other offenses I don’t understand the appeal in and out of universe.
Personally, I was hoping Roamer would move on after receiving the silent treatment for months after being so supportive, but these dogs remain a toxic couple.
Make sure to check out the rest of Nabisco’s blog.

once again kique has rogio and roamer F their issues away.
If sex solved every problem in real life like it does in Home, the world would be a utopia.
I get that sex is a way to connect and everything but holy shit these two solve everything with sex. Before reading the pages I was like: Rogio either leaves without saying anything or does the nasty with Roamer and solve their problems lmao
Terrible couple‚ but hey they are both horrible‚ I guess they deserve each other in a way.
Roamer and Rogio absolutely deserve each other. Their relationship is so toxic and manipulative. Rogio took advantage of Roamer right after his break up with Kargo and Roamer used sex to try and make Rogio stay. 😑
Absolutely couple goals 😍😍😍😍
(Fr the fact that this is the main couple in a semi romance series‚ yikes)
Roamer moving on would be too good to be true. It would indicate that Rogio’s actions have actual consequences, and we can’t have that. He’s been doing terrible stuff throughout the comic and it has never been adressed. No one has ever had any real problem with him, literally every character(from Ranach to Jonna, from Ronja to Ferah) in this comic is sympathetic towards him and treats him like a victim. Even if somebody actually adresses some problem with Rogio, it always concentrates on some nonsense (like Kargo being angry because he thinks Rogio won’t treat the Gary Stu right…) and not on the serious stuff (sex-traffiking, not helping the slaves, being power-hungry and getting privilages from being with Ranach). And every pseudo-conflict surrounding this character gets resolved in like two pages with either soulless conversation or making out. And we’re back to everyone feeling sorry for poor Rogio, as they always should be…
Your comments sums up much what’s been wrong with Home since Roamer and Rogio got together. At first I was excited that Rogio survived being nearly killed, because it could have been an interesting redemption arc. No, instead we get pity parties, an enabler playing the victim, and toxic relationships paraded around like they’re healthy. And the actual victims in this comic? They either just magically get over their trauma or they’re villainized.
