Oh, right. We still don’t know what happened to Auklet. That makes the most sense as his ending has been a massive mystery in this comic. I thought we’d find out during one of the flashback chapters, but maybe we’ll hear it directly from Sturgeon.

also pretty sure sturgeon is gonna talk about the threasher vs auklet fight. since threasher was alive later for the sea sacrifice and auklet definitely aint around. while knowing and promoting sturgeon to poison him faster with time running out on the planned massacure of daisys.

my guess was they were to be the blind oracles who share only one eye. you may know a little about them if you saw disneys Hercules.
using the eye, each witch could see the past, present, or future. in the original myth, Perseus stole their eye and held it ransom for information to where medusa was to complete his task of bringing her head.

but like everything else its so loosely based its just not them at all anymore.

The inclusion of the donkeys was a bit odd. Were they supposed to be like oracles or something?

Fortunately, Caly is dead dead. I think the way he went out was a bit unsatisfying, but at least he can’t hurt anyone anymore. Crisis on the other hand, I can only hope got the brand and wasn’t released back into the wild.
