Thank you. The pup’s hanging in there. Though she’s lost a bit of weight and is now partially blind.

The faces are amazing in Golden Shrike. The backgrounds are too. Doe Prince has said they use a mix of painting and stock photos (with credits to the photographer) for the backgrounds as of lately. I imagine it helps a lot with weekly updates!

I hope things remain peaceful; I had a loss in the family Memorial Day Weekend, and sometimes a gentle passing is just the best outcome that can be achieved.

Still, I’m enjoying the faces and the backgrounds a lot in Golden Shrike. And taking notes, because snow is my nemesis when it comes to art.
